Bio
Jennie most recently played “Vi Petty” in The Buddy Holly Story at Allenberry Playhouse in PA. Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, she trained in ballet at CCM and the Academy of the Cincinnati Ballet. She earned a Bachelor of Music in voice and piano from Ohio University, and is an accomplished pianist who has performed pre-show entertainment for the Cincinnati Opera. Jennie has traveled the country performing with many companies, including Nebraska Theatre Caravan's National Tour of A Christmas Carol, South Eastern Tours of both Smoke on the Mountain and Sanders Family Christmas with Cumberland County Playhouse, Wayside Theatre, Fireside Theatre, Beef and Boards, Granbury Opera House, Cincinnati Opera, and Asuka Cruise (NYK Cruises, Japan). Favorite roles performed include “Laurey” in Oklahoma!, "Nellie” in South Pacific, "Maria” in The Sound of Music, "Anna in The King & I and "Kim" in Bye Bye Birdie. In addition to stage work, Jennie has performed for corporate events, film, and television commercials. Most recently, she was an extra in the Hollywood Independent Feature Film Tan Lines, in theatres in 2012. She has modeled hair and makeup products for AVEDA, and was a model and musician for JOCKEY’S 2009 Line Presentation, Great Expectations, at their International Convention. She is also a professional steel drum player with the Bacchanal Steel Band.
